Helgonet is the Swedish title for The Saint. Semic Press published a monthly magazine in Sweden from 1966 with black and white comics of The Saint, the character created by Leslie Charteris.
From 1970 onwards the comic strip was based on the television series The Saint with Roger Moore. The magazine was very popular and was translated in France, Norway, Denmark and Finland.
In 1985 the magazine was incorporated into the monthly magazine James Bond, which regularly included a comic strip of The Saint.
Helgonet is de Zweedse titel voor De Saint. Semic Press bracht vanaf 1966 in Zweden een maandblad uit met zwart wit strips van De Saint, het karakter bedacht door Leslie Charteris.
Vanaf 1970 werd de strip gebaseerd op de televisieserie The Saint met Roger Moore. Het blad was zeer populair en werd vertaald in Frankrijk, Noorwegen, Denemarken en Finland.
In 1985 ging het blad op in het maandblad James Bond, met geregeld een stripverhaal van The Saint.
