The Atari Jaguar was the first 64 bit console. Along with the 3DO , Amiga CD32 and NEC PC-FX, it was the first of the Fifth Generation to compete with established producers Nintendo and Sega.
However, the Jaguar appeared to sell little because of the limited amount of games and the bad reputation that Atari had established with its game consoles.
It was Atari's last game console.
