F – Le Bhoutan est un pays en Asie, séparé au nord de la Chine (Tibet) par la chaîne himalayenne et voisin de l’Inde au Sud. Le pays fut un état princier sous protectorat britannique avant de devenir un royaume en 1907. Son indépendance fut acquis en 1949.
Les premiers timbres-poste furent émis en 1955.
