Impressor SA, Lausanne and Syens, gestart in 1972.
Impressor werkt uitsluitend samen met de postdiensten van Afrikaanse landen om postzegels voor deze specifieke markt te produceren. Zij zijn gespecialiseerd in het maken van goudfoliezegels. Er worden ook paspoorten en identiteitsdocumenten geproduceerd.
Veelal ongeoorloofde uitgiftes (1) en illegale uitgiftes (2)
(1) Deze drukker had als beleid postzegels gratis te verstrekken aan de administraties van zijn klanten. Als tegenprestatie van deze "vrijgevigheid": het recht om zoveel postzegels te drukken als hij dacht te kunnen verkopen aan de filatelisten.
(2) UPU Circular 418 of Nov. 10, 1997:
"We are writing to inform the postal administrations of UPU member countries that we have many cuttings from philatelic magazines referring to the issue by the Democratic Republic of the Congo (the former Zaire) of a certain number of philatelic products still printed with the country's old name (Zaire). These Issues were certainly put into circulation by the firm IMPRESSOR S.A.
The Democratic Republic of the Congo wishes to advise that the above-mentioned issues are fraudulent and are therefore not admitted for philatelic sale by its postal Services."
