Marc Degroide (Ixelles, 15 October 1951) chooses the pseudonym Michetz to express his vision of Japanese civilization.

He is a great lover of the oriental martial arts: he practices judo, kendo and iaï, and appears in his own role in the gag series around "The Mazda Gang", in which Christian Darasse signs the studio he shared for several years with Bernard Hislaire (his first screenwriter for this fantasy, followed by Tome) and the robust Marc, and in which there is always a samurai sword lying around.
