He combines funky rhythms with hard pounding beats and thus creates his own industrial sound, also called "schranz". Schranz is related to gunfire and cannon fire. In 1990 Chris Liebing started DJing in the Gießen area and a year later he was permanently programmed in the local club "Red Brick". At that time, Liebing mainly played hip-hop, pop and house.
