Rare weekly magazine as a continuation of "Ons Volk" from De Gids.  More

Overal

The weekly magazine "Ons Volk" was published by nv Periodica (part of the newspaper group "De Standaard") before the Second World War.
From December 1945 it appeared under this name by De Gids NV.
This was not to the liking of Periodica NV, which reclaimed the name.

The weekly magazine "Ons Volk" continued on April 6, 1947 as "Overal" (see image with the announcement from the first issue). As subtitle for the weekly magazines they use "Illustrated weekly magazine for our people".
Nv Periodoca took over "Ons Volk" again and simply continues numbering from number 14.

The series that ran in "Ons Volk" will continue in "Overal".

In the first issue we start with the sequel (page 12) of "Het veenspook" by Willy Vandersteen. This continues until no. 13, which also contains the announcement for "Het verzonken rijk" by Vandersteen.

"The Sunken Empire" by Willy Vandersteen runs from no. 14 to 32 (November 9, 1947) in 1947.

It also contained an article about Marc Sleen in 1947 as well as weekly gags by Pollopof.

The serial "The Deadly Cloud" by Bob De Moor starts in issue 33 of 1947.
