The trolleybus was developed in 1950 by Mr. Fisher in Munich. In 1953 Günther Eheim took over production in Esslingen. In 1963 Günther Eheim closed the toy department and the company BraWa took over the sales. BraWa sold the buses until 2001.   More

Eheim

The trolleybus as a model was developed and patented in 1950 by Mr. Fischer in Munich. When his company “Europa Technische Spielwaren” went bankrupt in 1953, his employee Günther Eheim took over the trolleybus production and added it to his own company in Esslingen where aquarium supplies were and still are made. Already in 1954 an improved version of the trolleybus appeared. A three-axle bus followed in 1956 and in 1963 an articulated bus that was also available as a diesel bus for the Faller AMS system. The models were also available as a kit. The buses were exported to the US where they were sold under the name Aristocraft and AHM. Eheim also produced cable cars and a television tower.
In 1963, Günther Eheim decided to close down the toy division and the BraWa company in Esslingen took over the sale. The name Eheim remained mentioned in the catalogue. Another N scale trolleybus appeared in 1964. BraWa continued to sell the trolleybuses until 2001.

Fischer in München.
