Postal services sometimes issue sheets of stamps in which the postage stamps differ from one another in image, color, currency, or imprint. A block or strip can be torn from such sheets in which all postage stamps differ from one another. Such a strip or block is called a “se-tenant”.
In a se-tenant, stamps may be separated by a vignette without face value.

In LastDodo, we only include the largest possible se-tenant that can be formed from a sheet. That is to say, if there are three different stamps next to each other, only a strip of three is included, and not the two smaller se-tenants consisting of two stamps.

Separate rules apply to combinations from booklets. For this, the special type “ Combination (from booklet) ” must be used.

Sometimes, postage stamps in a sheet are shifted so that both a block and a strip can be torn out to form a set with the same stamps. In that case, only one item is created. Within this item, both forms can be added as separate images.

Often, a se-tenant can be formed with the same seals, but in a different order. In this case too, only 1 item is permitted.
