F - Åland est une province historique de Finlande et la seule entité territoriale de ce pays à jouir d'un statut d'autonomie gouvernementale. Elle est constituée de l'archipel du même nom comprenant environ six mille cinq cents îles situées entre la Finlande et la Suède, à l'extrémité sud du golfe de Botnie. Depuis le 1ier mars 1984 l‘Åland émet ses propres timbres-poste entre 12 et 15 chaque année traitant de la nature, la culture, l’histoire, la société et l’autonomie Åland.
E - Åland is a historic province of Finland and the only self-governing entity in that country. It consists of the archipelago of the same name comprising about six thousand five hundred islands located between Finland and Sweden, at the southern end of the Gulf of Bothnia. Since 1 March 1984, the Åland region has issued its own stamps between 12 and 15 each year dealing with nature, culture, history, society and self-government in Åland.
