Details

Smooth shell with a slight groove near the suture with rounded convolutions (unlike in entropi, where convolutions are usually angular). Species from Queensland, Australia. Until recently it was known as "vittatus". Apparently vittatus has been described on shells from West Indonesia. These are darker than queenslandicus. Whether these are actually 2 species, or whether both are the same species (ie vittatus), DNA research must show.
