Olympic Woman Handball Player, made by Wallendorf Thuringia for the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin. It is a famous Kurt Steiner design piece, marvelous detailed and executed, depicting a woman handball player while she is preparing to throw the ball. She is dressed in white short pants with gurtel and blouse, barefoot, matte finish of the skin, almost white blond hair, marvelous expression of the face, delicate hands and details, standing on a porcelain base. Marked on the bottom and impressed designer name K. Steiner.
