Revealed in July, 2010 and released in August the following year, Gentle Giant Ltd's Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi proved what we always knew: Star Wars collectors are always ready, willing, and able to purchase old man action figures. like all the other figures in their Jumbo Kenner figure collection, this figure was created using a digital scan of the classic Kenner action figure with the same name. For this addition to the 12-inch collection, Gentle Giant took a unique approach with the color of paint used for the figure's hair making it neither true white or definitively grey.
