Luxor Beige As BMW only offered Luxor Beige for four years at the end of the 1980s and as it wasn’t a popular option, it has become highly sought after in the classic car world today. The example modelled was first registered in Suffolk in 1987 and in addition to its optional metallic paint, it featured power-assisted steering, which was not standardised on the 325i until September 1988, the rarely specified switchable 4-speed automatic transmission and all round electric windows. Father and son, Peter and Daniel Curnock from Worcestershire acquired the car in 2008, and although it has now covered well over 140,000 miles and a had few minor technical changes, it looks and drives like a much lower mileage vehicle. BMW produced 2,339,261 E30s of all types during the car’s production from 1982 to 1993 but the 2-door more sports orientated models are the ones which often get preserved and restored making this 4-door version in such good original condition a very rare car. Numberplate: D160 BGV Limited with certificate.
