Original drawing on paper in pen and ink, around 1965, possibly published in the Saturday Evening Post or the New York Times, of Ho Chi Minh, President of North Vietnam until his death in 1969. Drawing on white paper is pasted onto a larger piece of paper which has a stamped New York address on verso. Kroll, who left Germany in 1933 when the Nazis came to power, became a ‘celebrity caricaturist’ in the USA who drew caricatures of thousands of public figures in America and around the world. Paper size 15 x 10 cm (6 x 4 inch), image size 10.5 x 6.5 cm, signed lower right. In good condition.
