Original editorial cartoon on hatched card in pen/brush and ink, published in the Omaha World Herald, 2005, shows Osama Bin Laden calling an IRA terrorist an ‘Amateur’. In July 2005 the IRA Army Council announced an end to its armed campaign, stating that it would work to achieve its aims using ‘purely political and democratic programmes through exclusively peaceful means’, reason enough for the committed terrorist Bin Laden to sneer at the IRA. Card size 41 x 28 cm (16 x 11 inch), image size 33 x 22 cm, signed upper right. Printing instructions together with date, July 10, in lower border. In excellent condition.
