Original editorial cartoon on card in pen/brush and ink, published in the Omaha World Herald, 2000, shows an elderly couple at Richard Nixon's grave: ‘Sir, we're a group of concerned voters seeking a recount of the 1960 election.... "We're prepared to fight this all the way to the Supreme Court’. Refers to the dispute surrounding the 2000 Presidential election, which went all the way to the Supreme Court. Nixon similarly lost the 1960 election to Kennedy by a narrow margin, although there is no conclusive evidence that this was the result of vote fraud or miscount. Card size 38 x 28 cm (15 x 11 inch), image size 31 x 21 cm, signed and dated lower right. In excellent condition.
