Original editorial cartoon on card in pen, brush and ink, probably published in the Los Angeles Herald, c. 1917, shows Kaiser Wilhelm putting the squeeze not only on Germany’s enemies, Britain, France and Russia, but also his own allies Austria and Turkey. Uncle Sam is also involved in trying (not very effectively) to prevent it. Who will give up first? Card and image size 50 x 40 cm, caption in pencil in upper centre, signed lower right. In good condition
