Original political cartoon drawing in ink, crayon and heightened with white on Whitman board, shows Alec Douglas Hume and Quintin Hogg (Lord Hailsham), leading Tories, clearly worried about the outcome of the 1964 British elections and wanting less attention to be drawn to opinion polls adverse to the Conservatives. The Conservatives did in fact lose the election. Signed in pen lower left. Board size 42 x 30.5 cm (17 x 12 inch), image size 36 x 22 cm. In good condition.
