Portrait Johannes Hus (ca. 1369/1370 - 1415) standing on a pedestal; he has a document in his hands. Hus was a Bohemian professor who is considered a forerunner of the Reformation. At the age of 29 he was already rector magnificus of the University of Prague. Hus was critical of the abuses within the Catholic Church of the time.
