Original editorial cartoon in pen and ink on card for the Toronto Telegram, around 1968. Refers to the rising tide of problems encountered by American President, Lyndon B Johnson. Involvement in Vietnam had resulted in the rise of isolationism and pacifism and soured relations with the Soviets. Johnson has to negotiate a path through these dangers and threats.
