Details
Because the box was printed during the war, the German occupier demanded a registration with a code number of the paper used. This was due to the paper shortage and to prevent illegal press. This box has number K205, which belonged to the Faddegon printing company in Amsterdam. Another special feature is that the image on the box is black and white, but the puzzle itself is in color. Only in 1942 and 1943 were puzzles allowed to be printed with color ink; from 1944 onwards, this also had to be done in black and white.
