"Jugendstil" plate with remarkable and beautiful color scheme. Published by the National School of Painters. This was founded in 1922 by 'den Bond van Nederlandsche Schilderspatroons'. Designer: possibly G.J. Loenen, who also provided the graphics for the association magazine 'Periodiek'. The note: the back shows the figure '1500'. This could be the original edition, but in 1933 the association had no more than a hundred members.
