Quiralu produced this French officer about 1950-1957. Quiralu itself retired in 1964 This figure was bought for me by my parents At Lafayette in 1951 during a short stay in Paris. This officer figure was widely used for various representations, including as an officer of the "tirailleurs Marocains", and as an accompanist of the "Nouba des tambours Marocains" and indeed also as an officer in the "défilé de fantassins Leclerc en veste" (see page 54 book R Alazet cs: Les jouets Quiralu) Whether this officer typically portrays General Leclerc is very unlikely, he was used in too many different sets for that.
