Manufactured on 8th August 1980, just over two months before production ceased, the MGB modelled here was delivered to BL dealers ‘Tannary Ltd’ of Thatto Heath near Liverpool but was not registered until the 1st August 1981. First owner, Mrs G Howard, used the MG until 1989 before passing it on, locally, to a second owner who, because of ill health, dry stored it until 2004. Spurr Classic Cars in Sheffield acquired the car in 2009, when it showed 22,000 miles, and sold it to current owner Stephen Coltman, an MG enthusiast from the Leeds area, who re-commissioned it and enjoys using this unusually original MGB for classic car events and leisurely drives on sunny days.
