Leah Thys (Zonhoven, May 17, 1945) is a Flemish actress, best known for her role as Marianne in Thuis. Thys studied at the conservatory of Ghent. As a freelance actress she has been active with almost all Flemish theater companies. She was employed by the NTG for several years before moving to England in 1983 to hone her skills as an actress and director. She taught at the Guildford School of Acting and did not return to Belgium until 1994. When she returned home she immediately took on the role of Marianne and since 1995 she has taught again at the Brussels Conservatory, where she taught various Home actresses the tricks of the trade.
