The story of "Pearl Island" (V4) in this album (= album no. 2 in the series) is incomplete. The entire story of "Pearl Island," as previously published in the weekly magazine Robbedoes, consists of 64 plates (comic pages). This album contains plates 1 through 48A and 54B through 64. These short, missing episodes (plates 48B through 54A) are, however, included in the album "Pirates of the Stratosphere" (V5 and number 3 in the series), as a kind of misplaced bonus, on pages 39 through 45. A variant (misprint) of this album is also known. On page 4 of the album, the title list appears in a completely red block with black lettering.
