The Ship Wheel table lighter made by Hamilton was first manufactured in 1946 in the United States. This nautical figural lighter is heavily chromed - probably not as well known than other most famous Hamilton products: the airplane and the Knight table lighter. The top and bottom are painted black. The fuse burns by turning the wheel, which opens the lighter cap and sets the flint wheel in motion which then releases a spark that ignites the fuse

De Ship Wheel tafelaansteker gemaakt door Hamilton werd voor het eerst vervaardigd in 1946 in de Verenigde Staten. Dit nautische figurale aansteker is zwaar verchroomd - waarschijnlijk niet zo bekend dan andere meest bekende Hamilton producten: het vliegtuig en de Knight tafelaansteker.
