Jaguar Racing Set - EuropeanMotorSport
The Jaguar Enthusiasts Club saloon car race series is a well supported and exciting championship that holds races at most of the well known British tracks. European Motorsport (EMS) have been competing in the series since 2000, in their distinctively liveried blue and yellow XJ6s.
EuropeanMotorsport (EMS) were formed in 2000, the three EMS drivers are Howard Kirkham, Simon Lewis and Jim Shea. Howard won the outright championship in 2000 and Class A in championship in 2003. Jim won the Class B championship in 2004 and Simon won the Class B championship in 2005.
The EMS team have had numerous outright wins at the ‘classic’ tracks such as Donington, Croft, Cadwell Park and Brands Hatch. There have been many incidents along the way, one infamous at Pembrey in 2002, where Kirkham and Shea both had there cars effectively ‘totalled’ in the first 100 yards after the start of the race in a first corner ‘rear ending’ incident; of course due to no fault of the EMS drivers! Most embarrassing moment was at Silverstone in 2002 when the three EMS drivers couldn’t find the entrance to the track at the start of the race!
Contains: VA 08615 (Jaguar XJ6 Series 1 - Jaguar Racing No. 76 Jim Shea); VQ 08616 (Jaguar XJ6 Series 1 - Jaguar Racing No. 65 Simon Lewis); VA 08617 (Jaguar XJ6 Series 1 - Jaguar Racing No. 21 Howard Kirkham).
