Details
Commer first introduced a two-stroke, opposed piston engine in 1950. Designated the TS3 it was specifically designed for installation in forward control cabs and its success can be measured in terms of its service life which continued until the 1970s. This model represents a dropside bodied Commer with a cab supplied by Motor Panels Ltd of Coventry. The same cab pressings were also used on Karrier Bantam trucks (another Rootes Group product). This practice of using the same body panels between different types of truck was common in the 1950s as an economy measure. Limited Edition 5.000 pcs. (with certificate)
