Green (VA23000a) First produced to join the battle of the small car when Morris produced the Morris Minor, the first design of the A30 emerged in 1951. A major update to the A30 range followed in 1956. The model was given the newest 948cc version of the A-series engine, and a remote control gearchange, and was redesignated the A35. Production of the saloon version ceased in 1962 but the A35 van was to remain available until 1968.
