Metallic Aquamarine Production of the 356 started in 1950 and with the many variants lasted until 1963 when it was succeeded by the 911. A dumpy-looking little rear-engined sports car, the 356 was closely related to the VW Beetle - another famous Porsche design - with an air-cooled flat-four pushed engine and the same kind of trailing-link front suspension with high-pivot swing axles of the rear. There were coupe, cabriolet and shallow-screened sportster versions , the latter now much sought after. Between 1950 and 1963, there were 82.363 variations built. Limited with certificate.
