This TV show was 1960, The Brothers were very early Gibson adopters 1958 - 59 Very expensive USA imports. The Beatles and the Tielman Brothers both played for good wages in Germany in 1960. Andy Tielman the lead guitar player and singer told that the Beatles often came looking at there shows. "Mach Schau"!!! "Mach Schau" !!! (make Show make Show ) is was what the German night club show owners demanded from the early indo and English bands!
In 1969 when I first saw them they were already a anachronism but still fuckin' great . This TV show is a direct result of that German experience.
It's a a pity that it was too controversial for Dutch TV at the time.
They did broadcast " Black Eyes" in 1960 but this part "Rollin Rock" with all the "Mach Schau"!!! elements in it was considered to wild for Dutch consumers and youth at that time ...
