Two versions of the sleeve were printed, 'Hound dog' is the more common.
On July 25, 1956 'Hound dog' entered the Billboard's Hot 100 chart at #2 and the Country and the Rhythm & Blues charts at #1.
On August 8, 'Don't be cruel' entered at #1 on both the Hot 100, the Country and the Rhythm & Blues charts.
