Who knows more about this stamp, and in which area can I add it (if necessary)?
EAF supposedly stands for East African Forces, the stamp shows (possibly) Mogadishu. Google Lens points me in the direction of a British Military Administration issue...?

MennoGo

British occupation of former Italian colonies. There are various overprints. It started with MEF, but stamps were soon issued by region. The East African Forces were active in a large area, but these stamps were, as far as is known, only in use in Somalia.

After the war, the BA Somalia imprint was used in Somalia.
The British Administration (BA) was considered to be less intimidating.

Ok: already present in a separate area, I hadn't noticed that. I had searched for 'oost', not 'east'. Thanks, Esquerdo .

I will provide a better scan than the one currently available!

As evidenced by catalog Stanley Gibbons and other various sources of information (see above), the British stamps with the overprint “EAF ” (East Africa Forces) were only used during the occupation of Somalia from 15 January 1943 to May 1948. Then came the same British stamps with the new overprint “B.M.A. SOMALIA ” until April 1, 1950 when Somalia was remanaged by the Italian administration.

The stamps of the area “Great Britain [1943] - East African Forces ” should therefore be transferred to the area “Great Britain [1948-1951] - Occupation of Somalia ” with adjustment of the starting date 1943.
