Today I entered some missing items. It was then pointed out to me that these were not in the correct place. Upon closer inspection, I believe they were entered correctly. The discussion concerns art prints that were included with "The Complete Collection" of Suske en Wiske. The "Experts" judge that these prints belong somewhere in a remote corner of the catalog and not with the comics, even though they are indeed comic drawings. Furthermore, they were released as part of this comic series. So my modest conclusion is: if it was released as a whole, and everything was promoted as a whole, and if it was also sold as a whole: IT IS ONE WHOLE and should be cataloged as a whole, with all parts listed: the comic collections and the art prints.

I get the impression that administrators are hiding behind "catalog rules" without regard for the logic of the publication itself. At least, that's what I gather from their reactions. In doing so, they're losing sight of reality. My contribution isn't subjective, but based on facts.

LastDodo follows its own logic, so please rely on the administrators' knowledge. And try to view the catalog not just from your own perspective as a comic collector, but as a catalog for collectors of all kinds of items.

The Comics section is intended solely for comic books (although it still contains some magazines and other remnants of an old classification that still need to be moved to the correct section).

If you view Suske en Wiske the Complete Collection, you'll see that the five "Art Prints" have already been added as supplements to various albums. Such prints can also be listed separately in the catalog, but only under the appropriate category: Comic book ex-libris and prints .
Someone else beat you to it (four years ago), but they weren't neatly grouped together yet. I've done that for you now: Suske and Wiske the Complete Collection .

PS I don't blame you for not fully understanding how LastDodo works after 9 days, but have you at least read the Comics Handbook ?

mr1ch The general rule for all of LD is that any (partial) item that can be separated from a whole must be entered separately in the catalog under the appropriate category.
In other words, it is "possible" that the print is offered separately, and with the book you make the link as one of the images that the print "may" be included (as would usually be the case with new condition).
