It would be quite useful if the sorting in the view takes into account the number on the card.
That is, as it were, something like the 'Sequential number within the issue' in the stamp section.

The sorting in the Series is already based on the "Number on the map".
Problem here is that this field is not numeric and so it is sorted in alphabetical order. Can be solved by using a leading 0.

Well, I think that problem has also been there in the past in the stamp section, where all those 'leading zeros' could be removed afterwards.
With Stamps, however, it is merely a field to send the sequence. It's not a quality you'll find anywhere. Purely internal (to determine the underlying order in the selection).
In postcards it is a field with something that actually exists (appears like that on the card, it is an essential property of that postcard). That one card, it says '2' on it, not '02'.
So it doesn't really matter what is put in the 'Number on card' field?
