F - Penrhyn est le nom de l'atoll le plus septentrional et le plus grand de l'archipel des îles Cook. Sous la protection de la Grande-Bretagne à partir du 20 septembre 1888, l’île de Penhryn fut annexée par la Nouvelle-Zélande le 11 juin 1901. On utilisa tout d’abord les timbres des îles Cook de fin 1901 jusqu’en mai 1902 pour en suite être remplacés par des timbres de la Nouvelle-Zélande sur lesquels plusieurs surcharges furent apposées. Le 15 mars 1932 ils furent remplacés par ceux des îles Cook.
E - Penrhyn is the name of the northernmost and largest atoll in the Cook Islands archipelago. Under the protection of Great Britain from 20 September 1888, the Penhryn island was annexed by New Zealand on 11 June 1901. The Cook Islands stamps were first used from the end of 1901 until May 1902 and were subsequently replaced by New Zealand stamps on which several surcharges were affixed. On March 15, 1932 they were replaced by those of the Cook Islands.
