The Nintendo Game Boy Advance is the successor of the Game Boy Color. It has a 32 bit processor and a coprocessor that makes it backward compatible with the Game Boy Color. Just like its predecessors this version of the Game Boy dominated the market with a total sales of over 80 million units. In 2003 the Game Boy Advance SP was introduced. It had a clamshell design and several improvements, such as an improved display screen. The Advance was succeeded by the actual model : the Nintendo DS.
