Details

Recently described from shells from Mauritius. The difference is in the blunter apex and longer siphon compared to digitata. The color is always yellowish beige. The lip is also always very thick. Large shell between 150 - 180 mm. The validity is not certain and there are many experts who see this as a form of digitata. Further research into the soft tissues should provide a definitive answer.
