Description
Van deze ijshockey badge zijn twee afmetingen bekend, nl. 8,8 x 9 cm. en 10 x 10 cm. Het afgebeelde exemplaar is 8,8 x 9 cm.
Jan Leijs opende in 1978 te Roosendaal een sportcomplex met de naam Leijsdream. Vanaf 1979 werd dit de thuisbasis van ijshockeyclub Rose Valley Blue's. In deze hal is o.a. een interland tussen Nederland en de Sovjet Unie gespeeld. Er is tot en met het seizoen 1987-88 nog geijshockeyd. In augustus 1988 stortte tijdens een storm een deel van het dak in wat het einde voor het Roosendaalse ijshockey betekende. Door geldgebrek kon de zaak niet meer worden opgebouwd.
