The artist Alek Sander from Berlin exclusively paints with oil paints. All of his paintings are absolutely unique, painted with high precision, and have exceptional expressive power. His paintings show illustrations of female nudes in the style of the 20s, although he also draws inspiration from the stylistic direction "neue Sachlichkeit", which other artists and his role models such as Otto Dix and Felix Nussbaum belong to. Several of his works are displayed in the gallery Jörg Beier, Obere Schloßstraße in Schwarzenberg (Erzgebirge) and are owned by the gallery owner. His works have also appeared in movies and on TV. In 2012, the cinema film Gangster -Geld & Rockn' Roll premiered in Hannover. This film used Alek Sander’s paintings as requisites with permission from the artist.
