On the obverse, in Korean, Sang P'yong T'ong Bo (top, bottom, right, left). On the reverse the mint, in Korean, Chong (top), the seriesnumber P'al (8) (bottom) and a sun (right). The figure to the right looks more like a star (dot), this variant is not included in the catalogs, it might be a casting error.
