406 Mercedes Bonna Ambulance, W/d 1981, sold 64,000.
This model was an exact repelica of the German Bonna Ambulance.
It featured opening front doors, as well as a top hinged rear door revealing a well-detailed interior. Supplied with the model was a stretcher bearer party with the attendants in white coats.
The model was decorated with the Red Cross symbol and the work \'Ambulance\' in white letters on a red background.
Three other versions were produced, details as follows:
For Germany with the word \'Krankenwagen\' but in Cream.
For Denmark with the word \'Falck\'. In red and White with greater areas of red.
For Sweden with \'\'SDL951\' and White, Red Black.
407 Mercedes Bonna Ambulance, was identical to the 406, but without the stretcher party (to cut costs). It would replace 406 and be sold during 1981.
