Portrait bust to the left within oval of the physician and poet Petrus Hogerbetius (1512-1599). Hogerbetius (or: Hoogerbeets) was born in Hoorn and after his studies in Leuven settled again in that city as a city doctor. He was also a not without merit poet. Copper engraving, maker unknown, Jan Pietersz. Saenredam (1565-1607). Probably the anonymous copy after Saenredam mentioned in Hollstein, although the dimensions do not match. Portretbuste naar links binnen ovaal van de arts en dichter Petrus Hogerbetius (1512-1599). Hogerbetius (of: Hoogerbeets) was geboren in Hoorn en vestigde zich naar zijn studie in Leuven weer in die stad als stadsdokter. Hij was daarnaast een niet onverdienstelijk dichter.
Kopergravure, maker onbekend, Jan Pietersz. Saenredam (1565-1607). Vermoedelijk de in Hollstein genoemde anonieme kopie naar Saenredam, hoewel de afmetingen niet overeen komen. Matthijs Pool heeft deze prent wellicht gekopieerd.
