Original drawing on paper in pen and ink, around 1960, possibly published in the Saturday Evening Post or the New York Times, of Edmund G. Brown who was governor of California from 1959 to 1967. Drawing on white paper is pasted onto a larger piece of paper. Kroll, who left Germany in 1933 when the Nazis came to power, became a ‘celebrity caricaturist’ in the USA who drew caricatures of thousands of public figures in America and around the world. Paper size 15 x 10 cm (6 x 4 inch), image size 10 x 7 cm, signed lower right. In good condition.
