Stone statue and ashtray, hand painted. With the text: "if you know what I mean" on the sides, and on the face: "de Volkskrant". At the time, the ashtrays were made for agencies of the Volkskrant. ("Toonder" ashtray). It is not known whether this image was provided to all agencies or only to individual agencies. On the back of the pedestal, it is apparent from the molded relief stamp (molded lettering) to which Volkskrant agency the image was provided. Name, address and place of residence are stated. Stenen beeld en asbak, handbeschilderd. Met de tekst: "als u begrijpt wat ik bedoel" over de zijdes, en op de aangezichtszijde: "de Volkskrant". De asbakken zijn destijds gemaakt voor agentschappen van de Volkskrant. ("Toonder"asbak). Niet bekend is of dit beeld aan alle agentschappen is verstrekt of slechts aan individuele agentschappen. Op de achterzijde van het voetstuk blijkt uit het meegegoten reliëf stempel (ingegoten belettering) aan welk Volkskrant agentschap het beeld is verstrekt. Naam, adres en woonplaats staan vermeld.
