In the center, a leader, possibly Aeneas, arrives with five horsemen. Supposedly published in London by Jacob Tonson in 1697 in "The Works of Virgil: Containing his Pastorals, Georgics, and Aeneid. Translated into English Verse; by Mr. Dryden. Adorn'd with a Hundred Sculptures." Signed at the bottom in print. Numbered top right 468.

Ets door Pierre Lombard (1612-1682), naar Francis Cleyn (ca. 1582-1658) met voorstelling van een begrafenis in de Oudheid. Vooraan de lijkwagen die door twee paarden wordt getrokken, gevolgd door een rouwende stoet. In het midden komt een aanvoerder, mogelijk Aeneas, met vijf ruiters aan.
