Original editorial cartoon drawing in pen and ink and crayon on board, published in the Philadelphia Daily News, probably around 1969, shows the ‘taxpaying consumer’ at the poker table as the victim of a conspiracy of the combination of ‘taxes, living costs, prices and increased govt. spending’. Little it seems has changed since then. Caption written bottom left in pencil, signed bottom right. Board size 36 x 29 cm (14 x 11 inch), image size 25 x 25 cm. In very good condition.
