Oval portrait within a rectangular frame of Henri Daniël Guyot (1753-1828). Guyot was a minister of the Walloon congregation in Groningen. There he founded the first Institute for the Deaf in the Netherlands on April 14, 1790. In 1815 he became a professor at the University of Groningen. Ovaal portret binnen rechthoekige omkadering van Henri Daniël Guyot (1753-1828). Guyot was predikant van de Waalse gemeente te Groningen. Aldaar richtte hij op 14 april 1790 het eerste Instituut voor Doven in Nederland op. In 1815 werd hij hoogleraar op de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. Stippelets door Ludwig Gottlieb Portman (1772 - na 1828), naar een tekening van G. de San. Uitgegeven te Amsterdam in 1803 door Pieter Johannes Uylenbroek .
